About Me

IMG_4230_edited.jpg

My love for health, fitness, and nutrition started at a young age and continues to grow every day! From playing sports with my brothers to cooking with my mom, I have always believed that being healthy can (and should!) be fun and enjoyable. This belief is at the center of my philosophy as a fitness instructor and as an everyday individual.

My journey began in 2001 with a trip to the emergency room for back pain that began six months post-partum. However, with only bed rest and heavy medication for support, this was a temporary solution. It wasn't until several years later during physical therapy

that I would learn about Pilates as a permanent solution for my pain. I fell in love with the practice and, in May of 2010, I earned my certification and turned towards teaching Pilates as a career.

Since then, I have spent the past 14 years teaching a diverse range of clients from my at-home studio. From fitness pros to those with more specified needs, everyone has their own unique goals that deserve close attention. I believe in progressing clients slowly to provide them with all the benefits that Pilates has to offer! It’s my goal as an instructor to construct a plan and training schedule that will suit your needs and ensure you feel strong and confident in no time. And, after working closely with women at all stages of life, I’ve turned my attention towards learning more about menopause and how to better help my clients, and myself, navigate this stage of life alongside Pilates.

As I continue to teach, learn, and build my science-based approach to health, fitness, and Pilates, I strive to share up-to-date and applicable knowledge with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. Helping people change their lives through healthy lifestyles and meaningful movement is my passion, and it's my goal to ensure the process is fun and enjoyable. Your health and well-being deserve attention, time, and care, and it’s my priority to provide that sense of commitment.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your journey!
